Valencia is currently working on the "Climate Mission Valencia 2030", with the aim of turning Valencia into a climate neutral city. In fact, the city is already one of the 100 cities that the European Commission has selected within the mission "smart and climate neutral cities".
Las Naves and World Design Capital Valencia 2022 present a new edition of "Greetings from" which, under the title "Climate Mission València 2030", aims to promote projects that value the creative sector as the main agent of social change and urban innovation.
A strategy driven by the innovation center Las Naves and the Delegation of Innovation and Knowledge Management of the City of Valencia, responsible for the innovation strategy of the city, Missions Valencia 2030, which consists of a model of innovation governance based on missions that improve people's lives. This model brings together the entire innovation ecosystem without excluding anyone, because the missions of a city, a country or the whole of Europe are achieved from diversity and with the sum of all the parts, all the talent and all the sources of knowledge.
This project was born with the aim of making known, through illustration, the co-benefits of the "Valencia 2030 Climate Mission" for people living in the city. A sustainable city, green spaces, clean energy, smartcity, citizen participation, agri-food,... informing and motivating society to join the goal of achieving together the challenge of turning Valencia into a climate neutral city.
Co-benefits represented and interpreted by eight illustrators with very special styles, creating a diverse and visually rich campaign that you will surely want to collect.
What if we use the postcards to collaborate in its dissemination?

Objective: to turn Valencia into a climate neutral city.
Because Valencia, and by extension the Valencian Community, is a land of creativity. The work of professional designers, architects, interior designers and illustrators over recent years is evidence of a design culture that is present throughout the region.
Valencia World Design Capital 2022 values the quality of this creative sector, making it the main agent for social change and urban innovation. The aim is to generate a whole series of initiatives that will project design beyond 2022, drawing a legacy that is able to transcend and become established as a key value of the local and national social fabric.
