Valencia World Design Capital 2022
The city is celebrating! Valencia will be World Design Capital in 2022. Because Valencia, and by extension the Valencian Community, is a land of creativity. The work of professional designers, architects, interior designers and illustrators over the years is evidence of a design culture that is present throughout the region.
Valencia World Design Capital 2022 aims to enhance the quality of this creative sector, making it the main agent of social change and urban innovation. The aim is to generate a whole series of initiatives that will project design beyond 2022, drawing a legacy that is able to transcend and become established as a key value of the local and national social fabric.
